Unpublished review draft

Privacy

Prepared for publisher review on 27 September 2026. This document is not yet an approved or published legal policy. The target domain is vesca.kodawari.app; public HTTPS and final publisher approval are pending. The effective date will be the date of approved publication.

Who is responsible

Vesca is an app presented under the Kodawari brand. Its legal publisher and the controller responsible for personal information handled for Vesca support and this website is Mesut ARIDORU, the verified App Store Connect legal entity. Kodawari is the brand name used here; this policy does not describe it as a separately registered company.

For support, privacy questions and requests, contact social@kodawari.app. Drony Jydnas is the support contact, not a replacement for the App Store legal seller.

What stays on your device

Video compression, sample encoding and watermark rendering run on your device. The current app does not upload video contents to a Vesca server and does not require a Vesca account. Imported sources, samples, outputs, queue and recovery records, selected Photos references, settings, presets and watermark text or PNG copies are stored in app storage to provide the workflow you choose.

Source files can contain capture dates or location metadata. Where supported and verified, the app can preserve capture date and location in an output or when saving to Photos. Review a copy before sharing it if these details are sensitive. This is media metadata; Vesca does not need to track your current device location to compress a video.

Videos you choose and permissions

The system video picker supplies the videos you select. Browsing Photos uses the limited or full library access you grant; saving uses the Photos permission requested for that action. You can change permissions in iOS or iPadOS Settings. Refusing access can prevent the corresponding browser, import or save action.

Encoding and saving create separate copies and keep originals unchanged. The optional Delete Original action removes a verified original from Photos only after your explicit confirmation. You control this action; it is not required for compression.

If enabled, completion notifications use Apple's local notification services and may display queue information on your device. Control notifications in system Settings. Supported background processing and Live Activities are system-managed features; they do not imply a Vesca cloud processing service.

Apple purchases and iCloud

App Store purchases, eligibility checks and restores use Apple StoreKit. Vesca checks verified transaction and entitlement information, including product and transaction identifiers and relevant status or dates, to provide and recover Pro access. The current implementation stores entitlement recovery records locally. Vesca does not receive your payment-card details or Apple Account password.

Apple may download a selected video from iCloud Photos before it is readable. Photos syncing, Apple purchase processing and device backups follow your Apple settings and Apple's own policies. They are distinct from on-device encoding. See Apple's Privacy Policy.

Sharing and messages you send

The system share sheet sends an output to the destination you choose. That destination handles the copy under its own terms. When you email support, we receive your email address and the content or attachments you choose to send. We use them to answer your request, diagnose the issue and keep the necessary correspondence. Send a description first; avoid private videos, passwords and payment details.

This website

The prepared static site has no signup form, advertising SDK, analytics integration, cookies or browser storage. Its fonts, scripts and images are served locally. Clicking an email link opens your mail app; following Apple links sends a request to Apple's site.

Website delivery and email infrastructure necessarily process network and message information. A hosting provider may process IP address, request time, requested path, browser information and security logs to serve and secure a visit. Email providers process support correspondence. The final public hosting provider, processing locations, log retention and email-service arrangements must be confirmed before this policy is approved; the prepared website itself does not establish those provider settings.

Purposes and legal grounds

We handle support correspondence to respond to your request and provide assistance. Website delivery and security information is used to serve the site and protect it from misuse. Where applicable law requires a legal basis, these uses rely on providing the requested service and proportionate legitimate interests in support and security; compliance with legal obligations may require retaining specific records. Optional media sharing is your choice, and Apple/system permissions control access on your device. No claim is made that a system permission replaces a legal basis for information handled by the publisher.

Retention and control

App working copies, results and records remain locally until removed through an available app action or until the app's data is removed. Preview Storage cleanup removes unused previews while preserving sources, saved results and previews still in use. Removing app data does not remove separate copies you saved to Photos, shared elsewhere or backed up through Apple.

Support information is retained only as needed to resolve requests, maintain necessary support records and meet applicable obligations, then deleted or anonymized. Specific provider log and mailbox retention settings are part of the publisher's final approval. We cannot erase data held solely on your device remotely; use the relevant app, device, Photos or Apple backup controls.

Recipients, security and international processing

Information you send for support may be handled by the publisher, the designated support contact and service providers needed for email and website delivery. We do not sell support correspondence or use it for advertising. Disclosure may be required by applicable law. Provider access and any processing outside your country must be reviewed and appropriate safeguards confirmed by the publisher before public deployment.

Use trusted device access controls and keep your operating system current. No storage or communication method can be promised to be perfectly secure. Do not send credentials to support.

Your privacy requests

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or receive information you supplied; restrict or object to processing; withdraw consent where processing relies on consent; and complain to your competent privacy authority. Email social@kodawari.app with your request. We may ask for only the information needed to verify and address it and will respond within applicable legal time limits. Local-only videos cannot be accessed by support unless you send them.

We do not knowingly request personal information from children for support. A parent or guardian concerned about information sent by a child can contact the same privacy address.

Changes and approval scope

Changes to app data practices or website providers require review and an updated policy. The approved policy will display its publication date. Publisher approval must confirm the complete shipped app/SDK inventory, hosting and email arrangements, retention, applicable jurisdictions and required safeguards before removing this draft label.

For app instructions, see the help guide. Purchase and license information is in Terms.
